Love the maple chili wings. They’re spicy and delicious. Cornbread is very good too. But we felt being rushed by the waiter. Also, this is the first time I see a restaurant not accepting more than one credit card in this country.

Definitely recommend going, and making a reservation! The food was amazing! We ordered the maple chili wings, amazing!!! I had the grits with shrimp and mac and cheese . My husband had the burger he really enjoyed it and for dessert we regretfully shared the maple creme brulee. If you are looking to feel the love in the food then this is the place. The owners are very welcoming as well. Loved the vibe of the staff, they were very welcoming as well. Such a great restaurant, will definitely visit again on another Vermont trip.

New favorite dinner place. Rochester is a small quaint town surrounded by farmlands in each direction. Maple soul is a pleasant and romantic venue. We ate on the porch of what seemed to be a home converted into restaurant. Arriving as the sun was setting on a perfectly warm yet breezy evening. Our waiter had our order in almost as soon as we sat down despite it being a busy night. We got out drinks and enjoyed the view of the mountains and sunset across from us. Beautiful spot and excellent food. Good size portions and desserts ! Will definitely be coming back and I've been craving their food. See for yourself !

The staff at Maple Soul were very friendly and accommodating. Our server Olivia was very knowledgeable about the wine and food menus. She was also attentive and personable. The food is very delicious. My wife had the Blackened Ahi Tuna appetizer and I had the Roasted Beets and Goat cheese. For entries, my wife and I both had the Shrimp and Grits. The portions were large, the grits were flavorful, and the amount of shrimp was generous. The restaurant is in a quaint, small town and the eating environment is comfortable without being noisy. We highly recommend Maple Soul and look forward to dining there again.

Had the wagyu meatloaf, gnocchi with added chicken and goat cheese, maple ribs, wings, beet salad and cornbread. Every dish was perfectly executed and every bite was fantastic. Service was A, our waiter Sam was super attentive and personable (I certainly wouldn't have been to a table of 5 showing up half an hour before closing!) Cozy atmosphere that felt intimate but not crowded. Can't wait to be back in the area specifically to visit again. This place doesn't disappoint!

If I could give more than 5 stars, this restaurant deserves it! Hostess/owner was such a pleasure to deal with. She made sure we were comfortable from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The waitress was top notch. She gave her recommendations at our request and we were not disappointed. The food (Cajun Shrimp & Grits and Baby back Ribs) came to us fresh and hot! I can not even describe how good the food was. The starter, Beets & Goat Cheese and dessert, Maple creme Brulee were perfect. We watched the chefs prepare the meals in an open kitchen. We felt like we were eating at someone’s home. I can not give enough kudos to this amazing establishment. If ever we are back in the area (we live out of state), we would definitely go back! Thank you for an amazing Anniversary dinner and experience...one we won’t forget!

I’d come to Rochester again just to try different menu items. My husband and I were visiting from Texas & love all things fresh and local food. We don’t typically drink, so we had one of the botanical drinks & it was delicious. He had the ribs (and count us Texans impressed) & I had the fish and chips. The ribs were tender with great chew & the sauce was really balanced. The coleslaw (which I normally hate) was fresh, crisp, and refreshing! The French fries were the perfect size, seasoned well, and came with a delicious dipping sauce. My fish was fresh, crispy - although don’t be like me and put lemon on it too soon, I ruined the crunch - but I was still so happy We finished off with a maple creme brulee which was creamy, not too sweet, and just enough to spilt after a great meal. All waitstaff was really kind & helpful, we even got to chat with the chef. Was a great experience, thank you!

We've been dreaming of our meal since we left! The food was phenomenal, fresh, and scratch made, the beer and wine selection was fabulous, and the service was top notch. We sat outside on the most beautiful early summer evening. It was perfect! Starters: cornbread, ahi with homemade spicy cucumber salad Meals: mac and cheese for our toddler, meatloaf, and shrimp and grits Dessert: maple creme brulee (we so wanted to try the lemon tart, but they had just sold the last piece - BOO!), and a maple bourbon ice cream We can't wait to be back!
